The ladies of the Palm Beach Lakes congregation are inviting you to be their guest at their 39th Annual Ladies’ Day on Thursday, April 21.

This year’s speaker is Carol Dodd. Teaching was Carol’s dream since she was five years old. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. For almost 30 years, she taught in public and private school settings. Her activities relating to education within the church include teaching children’s and ladies’ classes, serving as the department head for grades 1-5 and other areas where needed. One of her greatest joys is studying God’s Word and sitting down with other ladies and sharing what she has learned. Carol was baptized in 1963 and has been faithful Christian for 59 years.

Carol and her husband, Don, live in Harvest, Alabama and worship with the West Huntsville Church of Christ. They celebrated 56 years of marriage on June 11, 2021. They have two faithful adult children, Kenneth and Dawn. Don and Carol served at Palm Beach Lakes for over 30 years where Don was an elder until they moved away in 2011. Since being diagnosed with stage four cancer in 2020, Carol strives to glorify God in everything she does.

Registration will begin at 5:45pm, and the ladies will gather at 6:00pm in the auditorium before enjoying dinner. The men of Palm Beach Lakes will be grilling on site, using some catered sides, and they will be serving it in a safe manner (just as good or better than you’ll find at restaurants today). The lesson will follow immediately after dinner.

There is no charge for this evening together, so please encourage each lady to make plans to attend.
